Our Brother’s Keeper Strategic Plan 2026-2031
Our Brother’s Keeper (OBK) enters the next five years with clarity, determination and commitment to long-term impact. As the region’s only year-round emergency shelter serving adults and families experiencing homelessness, OBK is committed to strengthening its impact over the next 5 years by building long-term sustainability, increasing effectiveness and program excellence for the individuals and families we serve.
Our Commitment by 2031
Each strategic priority includes clear goals, strategies, objectives, timelines, and measurable outcomes, supported by quarterly dashboard reviews to ensure transparency and accountability.
By 2031, OBK will:
1. Achieve 35% recurring funding
2. Reduce staff turnover by 60%
3. Complete and occupy a new, trauma-informed facility
4. Expand community partnerships and community engagement
5. Ensure 65% of guests exit to permanent housing
